FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What makes this TSP Alternative different from others?
Our TSP Alternative is phosphate-free and organic. It is super concentrated so a little goes a long way, and it doesn’t need to be rinsed!
Why does the bottle seem so small?
The bottle seems small, but to use this TSP Alternative, all you need is two capfuls to a litre of water. The extra concentrated formula cuts down on waste, because the same bottle will last you a very long time!
Why is it important that this TSP Alternative is phosphate-free?
When using a regular TSP, the phosphates need to be rinsed away really well because they can resist the paint. Phosphate is also a common nutrient in fertilizer, and when it is rinsed into your water system and into the environment, it can cause algal blooms, which can upset an ecosystem.
When should I use TSP Alternative?
We use our TSP Alternative during our first stage of furniture painting: the cleaning. It is a great cleaner and degreaser, and wipes away dirt and grime very easily to ensure for the proper adhesion of Fusion Mineral Paint and other coatings.
